Studio Policies

This is a brief overview of the studio policieS. the Welcoming Community, Cell Phones and Smart Watches, Masks, Illness, and Fragrances and Hygeine Sections apply to all students at the studio regardless of their instructor.

  • Please note that other instructors may have private sessions booked at the same time as yours. Be mindful of speaking volume.

I also ask that you refrain from any derogatory comments about race, gender identity, and sexual orientation as well as negative self-talk or body shaming. Talking about nutrition is outside my scope of practice, so lets leave diet talk at the door.

  • Please silence your phones and other devices during your session. I understand that sometimes emergencies arise, so please notify me if you need to remain accessible.

  • Grip socks are required. They are available at the studio to purchase if you forget yours.

Please wear secure exercise apparel without zippers, grommets, etc as this can damage the equipment.

If your hair is long enough to tie back, please do so! This keeps it from getting caught in the springs or other parts of the equipment. I ask that you not wear hair ties with metal on them, or bobby pins at the nape of your neck. This can damage the equipment.

Scents linger. Please refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne as this can trigger migraines for those who come after you.

  • Please on time for the start of your session. Yes, traffic can be crazy and unpredictable but please respect your session start time! If you can safely do so, please text or call if you are running behind.

If you are more than 10 minutes late you will be unable to join and the session will be deducted from your account.

For solo sessions, late arrivals of 10+ minutes will be considered a no show and the full price of the session will be forfeited or deducted from a package.

  • I ask that you cancel with care - all cancellations, regardless of advanced notice, negatively impact small business.

I know life and emergencies do happen and sometimes you'll have to reschedule. If at all possible, please reschedule for another session within the week.

All appointments (private, duet) can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start time

All classes can be canceled up to 12 hours in advance before the class start time.

Please manage your own cancellations in Vagaro - only text in the event of an emergency.

Cancelling within the 12 or 24 hour cancellation window will assess a fee or deduct the session from your package.

  • The studio utilizes recurring booking. If you hold a recurring spot and frequently cancel you may forfeit your recurring enrollment and be moved to drop in only enrollment until a recurring spot opens again.

  • If you do not show up for your session or arrive 10+ minutes late, the full cost of the session will be forfeited or deducted from a package.

  • As of 3/20/23 Masks are optional, however if anyone else in the studio requests a masked session this must be honored by everyone in the studio. We are a community and we owe it to the members of our community to respect their wishes. Please help keep the studio community healthy by wearing a mask to your session if you are sniffly/coughing but otherwise feeling fine

  • Being sick is no fun. If you are sick do not come to your session. The cancellation window still applies.

  • I require that all clients have been vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.

  • Strong fragrance smells can linger after you’re gone. Just because you love your perfume doesn’t mean everyone else does. Don’t wear it please.

The same goes for body odor - wear deodorant/antiperspirant and please have taken a shower the day of your session.
